Map Icons

I was asked to take on a course around icon development in Sketch for Lynda. It took me a while to figure out what kind of icon I would want students to build in the course that covered all the information they were to learn. I wanted to go with one icon that built over the course but that was tricky to do. Instead, I designed these icons based on a California tourist site. The idea is that the icons would show particular landmarks that users may want to visit while visiting California.

History of Voice Interfaces

As an introduction to using voice interfaces for a presentation at work, I created this video covering the history of voice interfaces as we've thought about it through modern history. While we still have a long way to go in AI, we've come along way in recent years and how Human Resources might eventually become a voice interface.
